Step Into Success Job Fair

August 22, 2025- Tec Centro York Job Fair Connects Community to Immediate Employment Opportunities

York, PA — Tec Centro York successfully hosted its Job Fair on Friday, August 22, bringing together job seekers, employers, and community partners for a strong day of connection and opportunity.

The event featured nearly 30 local employers actively hiring and drew close to 100 participants, offering attendees the chance to engage directly with companies, explore open positions, and take meaningful steps toward employment. The Job Fair highlighted Tec Centro York’s role as a direct pipeline from training to workforce entry—connecting prepared candidates with real job opportunities.

“This is exactly what our work is about—creating real opportunities and making direct connections between our participants and employers,” said AliceAnne Frost, Executive Director of Tec Centro York. “When you bring the right people into the same room, you see immediate impact.”

The Job Fair comes as Tec Centro York marks just over six months since opening its doors at 800 East Market Street in January 2025. In that time, the organization has already demonstrated strong outcomes in workforce development across York County.

Recent graduates continue to move into in-demand roles, including Certified Nursing Assistants, Phlebotomy Technicians, and individuals completing ESL workplace readiness programs.

Tec Centro York’s bilingual model expands access to training and employment pathways for historically underserved communities, helping individuals build skills and move into family-sustaining careers.

As part of the broader Tec Centro Workforce Network, the York location is built on a proven, high-impact model. In 2024, the network generated more than $31 million in economic impact from $6.5 million in state funding, demonstrating a strong return on investment for workforce development initiatives.

“These outcomes are about more than numbers—they represent people gaining stability, employers filling critical roles, and a stronger local economy,” Frost added.
